Team racing is returning to Mario kart 9 (possibility)

IGN has asked a few questions while trying out the new game Mario kart 8 on April 2nd, 2014, and one of the questions were, "Will the dual racing return?" Hedeki Konno, Mario kart 8 producer, explained that it wasn't the fact of disliking the feature, they just wanted to discover other new things to bring into this awesome racing game. "It wasn't just a simple case of, 'Hey, we're not going to do that again,'" Konno said. "We really think the two racers together in one kart of Double Dash was really unique, and we thought it worked really well."

Konno also said not only dual racers could be returning but 3 as well once they find a way to make the next Mario kart suitable for this feature. This is the MMT team, signing out, peace!
